 What are SB9 Units? Also known as the California Housing Opportunity and More Efficiency (HOME) Act, the bill allows homeowner to add one additional residential unit on single family zoned and single-dwelling unit lots. Even if an ADU and a JADU has been built on the lot, an SB9 Unit can still be built on the same lot.
